hey ns, im just looking for some input on the latest edit i put together......i know its one of those annoying threads, but i would appreciate some input.

The shots are nice dolly shots are good. I couldidnt hear the music caus im at work but it seemed wel edited simple and clean. The ony two things i would change are the font in the begining was huge i couldidnt even read it. And mix up your shots more the angles you had were great and i like the dolly but going back and forth like that just gets boring. Also some lights on that flat box wouldidnt of hurt.

Ill sum it up quick, less dolly, smaller font in the beginning (cant see whats going on), over exposed on some of the red rail shots, the flat box shots were way underexposed and I couldnt make out what was going on most of the time..

but, I like the feel of the edit, kinda chill but not so much its boring..

I liked it, But here are somethings i would change(even though it's way better then anything i could do haha) I would change the font, And as much as i liked the dolly i wouldn't use it as much. I loved the song. Also some other angles wouldn't hurt. This is at horseshoe right? doesn't look to bad.

Like it, I agree with the other people about the font, I think you need less slow-mo, and it would be more interesting if there were more than 2 features, as well as different camera angles.

i liked it but got bored, try to make the transitions match the tempo of the music/slow-mo shots. get more angles on the rails

i liked the dolly work on the red rail. other rail there wasnt enough light i dont think but hey i wouldnt have dragged lights and a dolly up either.

i guess its all opinion but i really hate it when a whole edit is in slowmo.

but yeah you had some pretty nice shots mix it up a bit with some more angles and other kinds of shots it would be sick

windows movie maker, right? that only thing i would change is the cheese title screen in the beginning. the overlay effect. nice.

Not bad.

I love the dolly/slow mo combo. My only advice for the edit is to mix it up a bit. You had the same dolly shots on the same rails with the same slowmo for the whole vid. It does get a little repetative.

Dollies are sick, and yours seems to work pretty well. Good stuff.

Shoot some more rails and get some more angles. Dont think that just because you have the dolly out on the hill that you have to use it the whole time. Get some follow cams or some close ups or some pans or some zooms or...see?

You also didn't have any filler, which is odd for the artsy edits. Usually when you make an edit, its good to show the "scene" and nicely done filler is perfect for that. Say if you had shot the sunset before you went night skiing? This would give the edit some depth shotwise, instead of just skiing on the same features.
