How does the whole buy and sell transaction work on ns

typically through paypal. most people wont buy from people without feedback. just becareful

make sure they're legit with feedback and lots of pictures
 
Yeah, more than likely, but not garunteed, someone with feedback, videos, pictures, higher post count, karma, etc will not scam you.
 
Yeah, all that is correct. If they don't have any feedback, ask if they have anyone who can vouch for their legitness, someone who lives near them, get their phone/name/address, and use PayPal for that extra security. I'm pretty sure if you don't receive the item within 45 days you can file a claim and get your money back which is sweet. Also search their NS SN for any callout threads on them. Make sure you use advanced search to search, the Google bar sucks.
 
uhhh don't mean to jack the thread but I tried signing up for paypal and my bank account doesn't give me a routing number. my account type is a statement savings so do you even get one with that type? im pissed
 
thanks for the help ,my acount also cant link with paypal so i am just using my fathers and paying him back since it sounds like buying with paypal is alot easier. And am i not going to get a great deal or something because i dont have alot of karma. Because i stoped using newschoolers for a while and i dident get any karma.
 
Nope, don't worry about it. You'll be set, just pay up and you will get the item and everything will go smoothly. One of the greatest things about our BST is the friends I've made on it.
 
thank you , it has to help a little bit though when you are trying to sell something because the guy i want to buy goggles from seems trustworthy and has alot of karma
 
Except i doesn't really work because if you have some high rated pics/vids you get nightly Karma no matter how much of a douchenozzle you are.
 
not automatically, but if you are a good buyer chances are the seller will give you +k along with positive feedback. dont worry about karma though, im not sure i have ever noticed anyones K, the only thing you need to look at is feedback.

shredtillurdead has tons of K but is also a huge douche who has scammed many people on this site
