how does somebody get sponsored?

Now, im not near good enough to get sponsored, but i always have wondered how sombody goes about it? Are you just freeskiing one day when an Atomic Repp is skiing with his wife and kids, and he happens to see you? or do you need to contact sombody and ask for some free stuff? how does all that work?

sometimes they come to u if ur really good

or u make video or something and send to companies u wanna get sponsored.

Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.
 
you don t just get it that easily you got to work at it and ski alot and pratice a shit load, then one day if you are good enough you get noticed and then thing just start happening for you. like win a few comps will certianly help out a shit load. so if you gotna dream of being one of the best in your area or in your country it just may happen to you. good luck and keep the dream alive. If you don't ski at a 'high-profile' resort where there's a lot of shit going down, chances are you're not going to just get noticed by a rep. In that case, you've got to make yourself a badass promo vid and send it to everyone and their uncle.

either youll want to compete in comps and win, or yourll just rip shit to hell and gone and someone will take notice.
