How do you upload a display pic in the forum?

How do you uploads those little display pics in the forum next to your name? And those quote things at the bottom of everyones post? Do you just type it everytime or what? Thx

 
the little picture thing is your icon. you can pick any one. the writing at the bottom is called a signature you type it in once and it will show after all of your posts. all this can be found under my ns. problem solved

Well how do you upload an icon ? and the signature just goes in automaticly? i dont have to put any code or anything?

 
ahh i remeber the day i first stumbled onto this site.... wow....

go to 'MyNS' up top there and go to 'signature' and fill the txt box out what ever you want your sig to be and for icon, go to 'icon' and uplaod an icon if you have one(hit browse) or click on the link to get icons and right click on the one you want and save it, then go back to the icon page and upload it (hit browse)

and thats how its done!
