as far as i know, corked is spinning, and dropping the shoulder dawn and back to the direction you are spinning. So if you spin to the left, then, throw it like a normal spin, but drop your left shoulder and almost cross a backflip and a spon... lol that didn't make sense

Corked for me=spinning with feet in font

Corked is basically when you drop the shoulder in the way you are spinning, ie left direction spin, left shoulder, and you end up looking at the ground. Flat spin is the opposite, you drop your right shoulder if you are spinning left. But, I can't do them either. people tell me to jump and drop the shoulder, start to spin, then bring your feet up and hang on, and spot your landing. I can almost do it on a diving board, but haven't treid it on skis.

the best way to cork yourself is just going out and skiing. try alot of different things, and eventually you'll get it.

carve on the lip of the jump in the direction you're normally spinning

this year whenever I did spins I would always throw them with my feet. but whenever I did, I would always get fucked up in the air and land in the front seat and it would be really small. am I supposed to just pop and use my upper body to spin?

because I like poop.

i throw my left shoulder down then my right over it, but somone said it was a d-spin, what exactly is a d-spin ^opps

if it were easier it would be called snowboarding

i like the sticker that says " Ya mum rides a Snowboard"

when u do a cork...first of all carve into the kicker/table w/e...this will make it easier and in my ind looks better anywyas...then "smell your armpit" too whatever side u spin to to get the same side cork...right when u pop and begin your rotation stick your nose into your armpit...this will cork you then take your head up and spot your landing...you should straighten out atuomatically if done right...i know it sounds weird but it def works...

just think about making ur tips go down and ur tails go up, i made the mistake of thinking if i just lean with my head and upper body i'll throw it...but i just went corked then stayed that way...wichh is also caused when u pencil out, just stay tucked up

-+teamtdot.com - freeriders unite+-

jus think of throwin a three but setting it more back. when your comin off the jump let your feet kinda come up infront of you, and then tuck it in and hold on lol

yeh same thing happened to me what i did was watch tapes and see how they threw it this is how i do it. when i go to spin say a seven i spin it but i drop my left shoulder and come over with the other one

Carve a bit off the lip, spin with your head looking down and round instead of just round - look back at the jump or to your left tail if you spin left. It's really not that hard, just balls - I spun my first ones to my feet pretty much but took a while to land one (720s are easiest to start with). Just watch videos in slow motion, find a nice jump and huck it.

i wanna try it into pow

think shoulder check in ice hockey...

drop that inside shoulder and try to fuck that jump up...

if you wakeboard it may be gentler to learn on the water first...if you drop it too hard to can end up with your center of gravity above your head and not be able to open up to land safely...

think body check and slow carved out spin...slow spin...pencil style wont work

i can throw a cork 7 but thats it, i have no idea how to land a cork 5 or 3...on a tramp

i think of it like trying to throw so that at 180 ill face the tramp and at 360 ill be facing the sky...and don't stall it out

no ones as good as me, they just got better marketing schemes

Don't look at the horizon as you spin. Try to lick the tails of your skis.

Find something really soft to land in. And possibly tongue protection. You don't want your tongue freezing to your skis in case you do make it all the way there.

I learnde corks on a tramp I haven't landed them on skis yet but to get the rotation tuck your knees in to learn it. throw your arm inbetween your shoulder and head so your not goin horizontal or vertical and look up in an angle.

i have to prewind like amotherfucker to get a 7 on a tramp

no ones as good as me, they just got better marketing schemes

I don't know if it's even worth mentioning now. But on a snowboard at least, you drop your head and shoulder back, almost like you are trying to check out your own ass. That's how I do it on trampolines and stuff.

your lucky, we dont get powpow in the midwest, i get to try them on ice if i wanna try. :-p

if u spin left and drop your right shoulder that would be a bio, flatspins involve lincolns and not much spinning

what's up now bitch

okay first off corks on tramps and corks on skis are very different. i mean you can get the idea of going cork on a tramp yeah, but its pretty hard to do a cork 3 and cork 5s on a tramp where as skiing it isn't that hard. basicly like was said before everyone has their own way. but i think the best way to explain it is you should first learn carve 3s and 5s at least. (learn how to throw a 5 while carving off the lip). then once you're comfortable with that you simply throw a carve 5, but as you're coming off the lip you want to drop your leading shoulder and pop (the harder you pop the easier it is to go really corked) then you grab and make it stylish, spot your landing, and stomp it. (i would also suggest not learning them into powder, only because its much much harder to land one in powder. but if you're a pussy without any balls and want to get the feel of it yeah you can huck yourself into powder.)
