How do you take off your skis?

i've always ridden px series bindings, so using a pole is hard to get my high din bindings off

so i stomp

That's retard logic. That's the same thing as saying since I have one scratch on my brand new Camaro fuck it I might as well key the car now.

More like saying you just totaled an 89 Honda ... but no don't get ketchup on the interior!!!

I stomp.

When I read the title I thought op got in his bindings and couldn't figure out how to get them off...really happy I was wrong

There's an art to taking off FKS's. damn things are so elastic it's hard to get them all the way down. I use right ski, real easy to avoid side scratching, then my boot to get the right one. Never use your poles or you'll get that hole in the pocket and moisture will get in your heels. Best binders ever, but they will take a finger off!

My bases are all destroyed anyways from skiing in the woods, I got 2 core scratches and one of them is super deep and like 6 inches long.

I still ski fine so I could care less if I screw up my base under the heel, even though ive been stomping forever and dont even have a mark there

Working in a shop this year i noticed how often skis would have soft little indents where people stomped their bindings. I stopped after that, plus i ride a high din on p18's, so it takes a lot of pressure to release and would probably make marks

Fuck that I actually like to care for my skis. I'm so pissed if I forget and stamp on my bindings. I always laugh when I get skis in and the base is fucked right behind the heel piece. It takes 1 second to use a pole and saves you so much base work.

I've had my skis for a nearly a decade, ski through parking lots, over rocks, down cliffs, on wood, rails, stairs etc... never had a tune/wax/sharpen and they still ride like new despite the multitude of base shots! Fuck wasting time/money on taking care of your skis. They still rip just as hard as ever, and I have full confidence straight lining and airing anything.

Bindings are shitty so I just stomp them out, I normally end up just loosing my recently borrowed rental poles before I go inside anyway.

There's no way in hell that your bases should scratch/gouge from stepping on your heel peice. If you think your skis are that delicate you should probably switch brands.

That being said, I stomp.

ha so true, if your skis are getting fucked up from stepping them off, do what he said and switch brands asap.
