i know candide looks over his right shoulder and spins left when going switch but i thought most people did it the other way (looking over your left shoulder and spinning left), next year i want to learn to do good spins switch and i was just wondering what you guys did

you should probably look left/spin left type deal... but whatever floats your boat. you shouldn't have to think about it, it should be natural when you hit jumps. give it a try, and see what you're comfortable with.

stick that in your pipe and smoke it!

ya, definately learn to carve switch and alternate shoulders to look over. helps a ton cause youre super comfortable over both. that way you can look over whatever shoulder is the most convenient to do the trick your doing. For instance, i look over my right shcoulder when going switch onto rails and my left for spinning switch. So, learn to carve switch

about popping. Don't!! Just keep your wait centered and rise with the jump. just enough so you don't suck it up. I used to have trouble jumping switch. I would pop downhill (like you would going off normal), then a guy told me to do the above. I did this, and all my probloems went away. Thats just me though, as people have said before, this is what works for me. Everyone has their own way of doing things. Thats what makes freeking so encredibly sweet.

popping switch is really hard but you really dont need to. i was trying out switch 270s today and just jump a little and throw your arms, look over your shoulder and go

1st: your balls drop then you yell drop

2nd: you ski switch aka backwards

3rd you grow a dick and just try it the worst thing to do is ask ppl you just need to progress your self skiing is and nonteam sport so why try and make it a team effort

buy a lucky talasman, super glue it to your helmet, then hit a jump backward tucked in a little ball with your eyes closed.

i'm real comfortable skiing switch, but i find i can see better over my left shoulder and i spin right

ski killington

i also have that problem...i just kinda flail around when i try to pop switch...

"Holy shit, did you see that tweaked out pencil! That was insane, that guy really knows how to rip."

i thought the same thing at the begging of last season....first couple of times hitting switch is going to be so uncomfprtable and is going to be sketchy as hell. my secret is leaning forward and leading one foot more forward than the other(way u r spinning)

practice looking over both shoulders without twisting your hips/waist and have minimal shoulder turning until you are airborn. once u get switch 180s just keep looking and u will be able to do switch 3's like no tommorow by the end of the season.

also watch your fet becasue i used to have a huge problem skiing switch becasue i had my feet in a v shape.....lean forward more like on your toes and that shoul fix that problem.....remember try having your feet between shoulder width and together.

don't pop switch? you guys are retarded, your tricks will look like shit if you don't pop. its just as easy, if not easier than going frontwards, just jump, weight centered and all.
