how do you spin out of the pipe

how do you spin out of the pipe, everytime i do it i am either under the lip, my ski catches, or i land flat. i can usually get 5 feet out of the pipe but not when i spin? how do i do it getting the same amount of amplitude?

yeah just wait till your boots are even with the lip

Yeah, I can spin way esier in teh pipe then off jumps. I usually just look down and right when the lip is close to my boot toe I start the spin. Unless your doing and ali-opp where it sometimes helps to carve up the wall and use your edges to launch off of.
