Do you say them as in hull? (short U sound) Or as in pool? (long U sound, like double O)

I have a friend that says bullshit like BOOLshit, and he says pull and full with the same U sound.

How do you say it?

No, we're both from the Cincinnati area. A lot of people say it with the "oo" sound, but there are some that say it with the U sound. I think the double O just sounds wrong.
