How do you pronounce K2?

Is it like the letter k then two, or is it like kaytoo. I've always wondered. Also, how do you pronounce Line? My friend said it was pronounced like "lin" or "lynn" and that the e just stood on the end to stand for extreme. Another one of my friends said it is pronounced "lean." I think it sounds like it is spelled, but Im just so confused with all this k2, line, armada, 4frnt, spy, anon stuff.
