How do you make a sequence pic with just the skier moving?

I tried a couple ways but when overlaping the photos closely it covers up part of the other photo. Is there a program that makes this easier?

like this? (click for pic)

there is no simple way to do it or any program that i am aware of. just use photoshop and have some free time. just line all the pics up, resize them so they are all proportional, and adjust the color/lightness/contrast on pic, and blend them all together. its hard and takes tons of time to get it right. that pic really sucks beacuse i didnt lock the exposeur on the camera, and alson zoomed in mid shot, so i had to resize each pic, fix the color, and fix the tilt.

what I do is take on pic that has the whole background that I like. The I take the others, one at a time, put them inplace, then erase everything around them roughly. it works really well. very easy with photoshop.

any trick to do that with a trampoline jump???

I'm feeling greeaaaattt!!!!

there are two ways to do it with photoshop the first is mentioned above with placing all the pics on top of one another and erase the background on all but one. the other way is to cut the guy/girl out of the pics with a little bit of the background around them then find the same spot on the original backgroud and paste him/her where they belong. it also helps to fade the edges of the cut out. both ways take a lot of time. good luck

And you don't need photoshop to do this at all. A cheaper program will do you just fine. The problem with doing this on a tramp jump would be that the person comes back down on the path they took up, so the person would overlap the first few pictures with the last. You could just start/stop the pics at the top though.

Also what I like better to do is insted of acctualy doing a hole bunch of pics to do a multiple exposure. You get it all on a normal print and it can lead to some cool effects, the best one being when the skier in perfect exposure and the backround being a bit overexposed.

sick pics, guys. i do sequence pics like those in a mush cheaper drawing program and it still works fine. what i DONT know how to do is overlap the body...any thoughts?

yeah, zoom in and use the lasso, its tedious, but it works

ive done it in paint. looked pretty good too. i made a JF trap rail sequence. when i find it, ill post it. its nice, for my 2nd ever attempt at making sequences, and drawing in part of the rail that wasnt there. i just play it from the movie, then pause it, and take a screenshot, then paste it into another paint, and clip it so it fits the sequence right. doesnt take too long.

made this in about 10 mins with photoshop. I just overlaped one pic at a time and erased roughly around the body.
