How do you land tre flips?

Get actual skate shoes first, it'll help a lot.

Jump forward like an ollie. You're just landing with your front foot. Try it while moving not standing still. And pop that shit.

man skate shoes really don't help too much at all. lets be real, ice cream has a team that skate in ice creams all day and they fucking slay. try and keep your body over your board dude your kicking it away out infront of you and leaning back. keep your shoulders over your board!

This is my room mates tip trick on it. He has a lot of good videos like this. Check it out

one of the most helpful skate tips i've ever gotten was from my friend who just said "kick both legs as hard as you possibly can" and i got it down. once you huck a few and figure out how it works you can make it a little more efficient.

Thanks that should help. What I think I'm gonna do is work on my backside 3 shovits while moving and then just take it to 3flip. thanks for the help everyone.

It's all personal opinion. From my experience though, DC shoes are shit and wear out too fast. Vans are alright. Emerica's or ES are the winners IMO.

Don't buy fucking nikes, get es and emerica, support the real companies that donate to comps and shit. And yea your momentum is off.

Haha interesting advice...Ok well listen up sonny! Tre flips are all about that back pocket. It looks like you sorta got that part down. Now seriously, in that video it didnt look like you tried to commit even a little. So get your toes in that pocket, not too far in though, or the board might flip outta control. Now move your front foot to wherever you would when doing a kickflip. If that footing doesnt work, try moving your foot lower/higher, when a lot of people are trying to learn they keep their front foot kinda far back, about an inch back from the center. Now you just scoop from that pocket with your back foot and just give a little flick with your front foot. The scoop is the most important part. It looks like your board might be flying out in front of you because you are trying to karate kid kick your board to space. So let up on that front foot, and just give a little flick, because the back foot is really what scoops the board into a tre. Good luck man, keep playing around with it I'm sure you'll get it! Dont give up!

just a joke, some dude made a thread about the possibility of a switch kang flip and said "but your momentum would probably be wrong" and everybody ran with it

lol all of ice creams' team left trey, but all you have to do is scoop and flick with your front foot. Your front foot is just going to guide and control the flip, the scoop is really the most important element.

its an NS joke.

Aside from that, its all in the back foot. You have the foot positioning at least mostly right, you just got to scoop the board more. Basically as you pop down you also scoop the board backwards with your foot, its that scooping motion that keeps the board under you. Its really hard to describe, but just think of scooping the board. Sorry that wasn't as helpful as i thought it might be.

its all in the back foot. your toes should be hanging over the tail a bit, and scoop like theres no tomorrow. theres only a little flick with the front foot, its allllllll the scoop.

learn from the man with the butteriest 360 flips ever.

has anyone actually tried skating a pair of puma clydes? or do you just denounce them because they dont have them at your local skate shop?

regardless, they skate really well, keep skating in them bud. same type of feel as adidas gazelles. and gazelles are the second best skate shoe ever.

naww i havent yet actually. i got a pair for chillin in, but im skating in busenitz pros now, and that shoe is a masterpiece.
