How do you incorporate pictures/logos along with clips in FCP?

The title pretty much sums up what I am trying to do, but I'll explain further.

I am making an edit for a friend and I have an intro clip of him in the chairlift and this is where I wish to incorporate different logos that should run along with the clip itself. Is this somewhat of an easy task or am I just being a retard at Final Cut Pro? The latter of the two may apply.

I would appreciate it if someone could help out with some insight

It's pretty simple, if you ask me.

I use a transparent background PNG or PSD file to get the image looking nice, and professional.

Splice out of interest why use png over jpeg? Everything I do is either jpeg/psd

PNG is usually the only one that can be transparent I believe.

But yeah, does it seriously matter?

It was a legitimate question, I didn't know pngs could be transparent, and I wasn't sure if they were higher quality.

Yeah I didn't think it wasn't legit. But I wasn't putting you down either. I was asking a legit question. Sometimes the internet is just tough to understand. lol
