How do you guys like the smith variant brim?

my dad is looking at getting it and asked me to ask you guys how you like it. how is ventalation in it? what goggles work best with it?
 
i used one last year. it was really nice, i liked the venting. i wore crowbars and they worked well
 
i have it and i like it a lot. it fits well with my crowbars and anons. and as for ventilation, i don't really use the vents but my head is never too hot or cold or anything.
 
i gave my dad a g10 mx and some crowbars for his birthday and he fucking loves both, so you might want to consider that combo for your dad. mine won't stop talking about how comfortable everything is and he's not that into changing around his outerwear/helmets that much
 
the g10mx was the other thing i recomended to my dad but he thinks the visor is to big.
 
yeah tuna has more, but as you might have heard, the berg is in dire need of money, so we'll be supporting them
 
Variant Brim is one of the best helmets out there...hands down. Your Dad will love it. I don't know anyone who doesn't like this helmet. Light, great venting, and sleek. I wear mine everywhere. Buy it.
 
hes just mounting 2cm back. but the guy who mounted them is retarded. i never have the berg mount my skis. i told him he should take them to worl cup in belvue
 
It is a terrible helmet, do not buy it. The vents suck, the styling is horrible, is looks like a lacrosse helmet. And it is uncomfortable.

But seriously, it is my favorite helmet. The G10MX is also a superb helmet. Those are the only two I wear now after owning everything from crappy park helmets like the Holt to full face like the Remedy S and Flint
 
i have it and its a sick helmet. its comfortable, lightweight, and the vent work real good. you can take the size adjuster thing out, which is what i did. it fits great with soldiers. the only thing that i dislike is that the vents are hard to open on mine for some reason. my friends dad has it but his vents open easily. i must have gotten the lemon. i think your dad would be happy with it
 
last year i had a varient brim, but this year i got a holt. like the holt a lot better, both fit and look. also smith google usualy look sick with smith helmets, i have to admit the variant brim with I\O goggle looks sweet.
 
I wear the Variant Brim with the I/O goggle. Works awesome together. Also seen that helmet with the Phenom (anything Smith will work really well usually) and The EG2 actually. Kinda depends on your dad's face, but anything Smith should fit with that helmet.
