How do you go to a camp?

How does everyone on here afford to go to camp for a week do your parrents just pay for it and is it only the 18 under crowd.

Or do you just throw it on a CC and take off work for a week and say fuck it.

Or are there other people here like me who cant afford to do any of the above and if so how do you go to camp?

 
I went to ski camp last year and my grandparents paid for it. i dont know how the rest do it but i envy them very much.

 
i normally go for 2 sessions at windells - my parents pay for it. but this year sincei m going to a boarding school that costs close to 40k a year, where i get to ski everyday from 12-4, they wont even let me pay for it. i wana go to high north soo fucking bad

its gould academy in maine, its like 5 minutes from Sunday river which is pretty ill. I asked my mom if i could just go to high north for all the sessions instead but she said no for some reason. anyways i need to get away from home

so I work and paid for half

my parents are paying, and I know thats a spoiled thing to say. I have to pay them back some, and just generally be a super good kid because it's amazing they're letting me go.

 
Whenever I went to camp my parents paid. I'd say that most kids who go are under 18 and their parents pay for part or most of it. There are some kids who pay for all of it and there are usually a few people over 18 at each session.

 
my parents just bought me brand new skis so this year i had to pay for most of camp but they pay for airfare and that stuff its the actual camp that i have to pay for

And i just go to the public park. its cheap, and it allows me to drive all across the US, Yellowstone, Devils Tower, Badlands, Whistler for 2 weeks, and then back down the Coast to Huntingotn Beach, LA, Vegas, then home....all for 1000 dollars. when some people go to camp for a week for like 2400 (after airfare)

summer camp is sooo fun but it all depends which camp you go to that makes all the difference if you go to a shitty camp with no snow then youre screwed but then you can find yourself at an awsome camp with great pros and people it all depends

i was supposed to go to progression this past april.. i was all signed up and everything. then the week before i got really hurt and was in the hospital. so i obviously couldnt go. and im not going this summer cuz im saving up for a car. so it suckks.. alot. and i miss the snow

how about a jib for the mentally unstable aswell. maybe a picture of a kid with down syndrome on a box - anathema
 
yea i dont see how anyone can go to camp, do you people not plan on going to college or university, like camp prices are retarded plus school isnt the cheapest thing, and most people need cars, computers, thats retarded how anyone affords camp......... i have been saving for school since i was 12, its not a cheap thing, its alot of money to come up with......

Papasteeze is his father. This kid is really good. I believe he is 11 and he pulls 720s and maybe a 900 and he does smooth 270s and is starting to get 450s. I have met the kid in person and he has real cool style when he skis.

i get the hook up.. paid airfare from boston to vancouver, bus ride, 3 weeks of camp + food for 4 days of mogul course set-up...sooo tight

Last year my parents paid for it but I broke both of my wrists the day before camp started so they got most of their money back. This year I'm paying for it all myself.

yeah the avg joe aint going to be able to afford 1500 for a week of camp. now that i think about it thats alot, infact they are ripping you off fuckin hardcore. i dont think its worth that much to ski.

My parents payed $400 of the $2000. Holy, some people on here are so lucky that their parents pay for the whole camp!!! I thought I was lucky to get the $400 towards HN for my birthday present.

I went to CoC last summer. My parents agreed to pay half which counted as my X-mas, birthday, and graduation gift. I payed the rest.

I've been 3 times to COC, first time my mom pitched like 25% of the costs and then I have paid my own way for the rest of it. Wa super hard to save up in grade 9 the first time because I didnt have a part time job, but the second times I just saved my paychecks was putting on 25-32 hour weeks at Tim Hortons (Coffee & Donut shop in Canada) during grade 11 and grade 12.

I just wanna ski, is that to much to ask in life
