how do you get to chad's from the bottom of alta?

okay, let me get this straight, these guys come down from montana over the three day weekend, successfully nail the most infamous gap jump in skiing, and some of you are still finding things to critisize? i could care less if they cleared the thing out while twirling their poles over their heads totally out of control, much less land a front flip and a few spins on the thing.

Heh, sweet. I figured everybody that was talking shit about territory was full of shit, but I don't really know much about the gap jumps, so I kept my mouth shut. Seeing a bunch of kids having a good time on pyramid yesterday pretty much confirmed my suspicions that no one gives a shit who wants to build up those gaps, at least now that they've all been done so many times. The chad's inrun is sketch, building that was quite an accomplishment for a few guys out here on a three day weekend. Way to go!

no, you do not understand, as you would land further down on the side, the landing is further back, making it practically the same difficulty whether you land on top or further down. the reason we were not going over the top is because of the size of the bald spot on the landing. If you dont know, there is a year round bald spot on the (skiers) righthand side of the landing, just past the peak, which right now is very large. thats why we werent going directly over the peak

 
Thats insane. I grew up skiing at Alta, and always heard the stories, would see people building it up. I still don't know what the pyramid looks like, that just a little farther down the road?

The gap, I think, is in Andy Spotts first video clip, the very last shot. I don't know for sure but it is a pretty lengthy gap.
