how do you get to chad's from the bottom of alta?

i'm not saying that u couldnt hit chads

but it takes a really long time to setup the kicker

I don't know why I am bothering, but I will give you the brief synopsis.

They only asked about the location of Chads.. people started to immediatly flame them saying that they could not hit it and if they came by the Gulch some wannabe gansters would give them a beating.. this crap went on for a month...everyone calling them pussies and claiming that they were full of shit.

They went to the gulch, hooked up with Chris Collins and Sage, built a kicker and inrun for Chads which took them three or four hours.. busted out moms video camera, hit the gap.. came up short just short, hit it again, front flipped it, 360'd it.. packed their shit, got hella props from all the pros filming on Pyramid up the gulch and went home..

Posted video here and schooled guys like altarider and Dspin7x.. everyone had a laugh and rethought the idea of calling people pussies in the future when someone says they are going to do something.

That was my one and only synopsis for you.. from now on, read the thread or don't waste everyones time posting on it.
 
I remember reading this thread for the first time. It was like sex. It took so long to build up, and then--out of nowhere--you get these links to videos. Definitely my favorite thread on NS.

Without a doubt the best thread in ns history. Holy Hell. First all the shit talking from people that don't know anything about backcountry skiing AT ALL! And than those vids pop up and make them all look like assholes. ahhhhhh soooo good. Seriously I don't know why that gap gets soo much damn attention. There are gaps all over the damn place that you could build a jump on that one just happens to be close to Salt Lake and Alta, you can walk to it this it makes for a perfect setting for photo shoots and what not. That front was killer btw

honestly i dont really understand why the "locals" would really care if you wanted to go attempt to kill yourself and if you did build it and hit it and land in one piece i bet they would give you props.
