How do you get DVD's onto Itunes?

But, does anybody know how to get DVD's onto Itunes so I can get some movies onto my Ipod?

ok basically you need some way to rip the movie to your computer. Then, in order for it to work on itunes it needs to be in .mp4 format. So any basic free conversion software can do it for you. if you're using a mac, the best program for eveything above is handbrake. Not sure what to use on windows, i don't have a lot of experience there.

Download DVD shrink...it'll copy DVDs to your hard drive to a .ISO file. See if you can transfer .ISO files to your ipod..you may have to convert it to another format (MPEG, etc.)
