How do you find music

Question is to you guys, How do you find new music for videos that hasn't been used before??

i know i try to go on Soundcloud and just search for hours to find some good stuff

GO!

 
i get on pandora, listen for hours and if i find somethin interesting, check out that artist some more and look for other cool sons by them
 
If you don't already know about pitchfork, I would suggest just going to their best new albums section and downloading everything they review there, should keep you busy for a WHILE.

And this way you get more than EDM which is what soundcloud/beatport both cater to.
 
just for listening- spotify, edits, related artists on itunes, related videos on youtube, friends

for edits- songs by artists i like that havent been in an edit before, i listen to songs and imagine skiing clips in my head and see if it would go good toggether

If i hear a song in my itunes I put it in a playlist called "ski edit songs" and when it comes time to make an edit i have a lot to choose from
 
Like people have said above soundcloud, pandora, hypem, and a good one to search is a blog with free downloads right on the site is freeindie.com
