Our crew has more boarders than skiiers. Matter of fact there's only about 2 of us compared to the 8 or so boaders we ride with.

My rule is, if you don't glare at me, cut me off, or throw a snowball at me, I like you.

Respect me, I respect you.

Thats what parks lack these days. Just kids actin the gangsta role, who've got their pre jump glare down better than their actual airs. We all ride, we just need to be friends. ;)

if i started out as early on snowboard as i did on skis, i probly would be good enough to have it as my main sport, i quit because i wasnt good and didnt get the feel for it.

I don't see how someone can dislike another person because they ride on one really fat ski while we ride on two. The only dicks are kids who aren't good and think it's cool to bash someone because they have different equipment.

yah most snowboarders are chill, as are most skiiers, i really dont care what people ride. my only comment is that it seems like in general skiiers have a closer knit society, prolly cuz the sport is less mainstream, so there are less (but still too many) posers

The way i see it is skiers who hate snowboarders are posers and snowboarders who hate skiers are posers. I think in genereal both industrys have a mutual respect and are actually becoming closer and closer. Now the general public on the other hand still views skiing as old news and boarding cool. So if u beleive that bullshit u r a poser

snowboarders are cool just like us, I would have to say their are alot more little punk snowboarders than skiers though. But all and all were all the same.

Hopefully I will be skiing the Big K in VT until January, and the other K in CA for the rest of the season.
 
at my mtn i pretty much dislike every other park skier because they are dicks and most dont no how to ski anything other than the park. most of them cant go down shit.

 
snowboarding is cooler for sure, its just that i grew up skiing and know HOW to ski as opposed to snowboarding which ive only done a few times. snowboardings fun and it seems you can do a lot more with a snowboard than with skis. if you dont beleive check out afterlame. they do it all. cartwheels and shit.

 
most snowboarders at my hill are just as cool as skiers, they are friendly, I talk to them, they are pretty cool just with one board strapped to both feet.

man... baker has a shitload of snowboarders... so its only natural that i grew up ridin with them..ive begun to notice that (at least where im at) the boarder who have been riding longer and have skill have just as much appretiation for skiers that have been riding long and have skills... its the fuckin bitch ass kid snowboarders off the ski buses that come on the mountain with the wrong fuckin idea... i usually end up givin those fuckers a pole to the back of the helmet their fuckin mom bought them... and i would expect my snowboarding friends to do the same to a feegot skier too.

I don't mind good snow boarders that go down a hill with the board pointing somewhat down the hill...but there is nothing I hate more than sucky ass snowbaorders that point thier boards sideways and push all the fucking snow to the bottom of the mountain...I hate that...but I really like is snowboard chicks...they are so much hotter than chicks that ski(although chicks that ski are still hot) anyhow I love snow board chicks...if only i could find one that was over 18 things would be all good and legal

Snowboarding is fun and most snowboarders are cool. what ticks me off, is when the kids that have never been on a snow board before think that they are all cool to go in the park and sit down half way between the jump sets or just suck and distroy the landings.

its great when all of the local cool snowboarders are cool with skiiers and then some dickhead comes to the mountain and is all like 'hey fuck off skiier fag' that dickhead is usually a newbie who only goes by what is known by those that are not everyday guys. he is a nub that watches too much johnny tsunami and thinks all skiier lick balls. usualy he falls fast and takes long to get up. and he wears on old dickies sweatshirt and jeans to match the nice white rental board i passed out to him earlier that day.-i work in rental- this is maybe just a small ski hill thing but it could be everywhere

What they ride doesn't make them any better a person. I'd much rather hang out with snowboarders who are decent human beings than skiiers who are assholes.

 
i remember one time, a snowboarder spit on my jacket from the lift. if theyre not assholes thinking that theyre all cool and good, then thats fine, but if they like cut you in the line for the jump/jibs, or like laugh and stuff if you fall doing something big, thats gay. my friend snowboards and hes not a jerk. just dont think your big because you got a snowboard.
