How do you embed vids/pics?

forgot how to do it and everytime my post s the url i feel like an idiot. so someone please tell me how to embed.

to embed pics you have to get a url that ends with like jpg or a picture file and you copy the URL and put brackets like this around it. BRACKETS are...

then put it in brackets

to do a URL link i just paste it in the reply box and it makes it a clicky for me..

MAKE SURE FANCY EDITOR IS OFF! it is much easier!

^yup, the one was almost spot on but you had a space between the bracket and the url, nix that

to embed a video simply find the embed code somewhere around the vid

example click embed button

once you click the embed button you should see this

copy and paste that code into the reply and you should be good

that is for vimeo...

for youtube it's basically the same thing

click share

then click embed and you should see this

copy and paste the embed code and you should be good

honestly its not that hard you just do the / thing with the url. Most people just need to turn of fancy editor but yeah I agree they should make it a little easier.

The best way to embed pictures is to upload said pics on a site like photobucket, copy the image url, and paste it in the text box. DONE
