Use a file

I can guarantee you didn't search for this topic before you posted it though, did you?...

yeah but i hear that is worse for your edges idk mine are fine and thats what i did...but a metal file is the best bet.

take it to a shop and ask them if they know how to make em round on the base grinder its pimp otherwise rock/file/anything thatll make sparks if you hit it on metal

just ski, at the end first day on my new skis (not detuned) they were as detuned as my old ones. but i was thinking it may be the quality of the edge.

It will be a super shitty detune. Tons of burrs, tons of friction, and a strong likelihood of catching and the like. More likely to crack edges (or sooner at least) and so on.

Use a handfile for the shit underfoot if you're hitting rails, not a gummy stone or some shit. It just doesn't remove enough material. But use a stone or something to take a little bit of the bite out of the tip and tail as you so desire.

for my rail sliding edges i take a flap disc, 80 grit sadpaper, then 180, then 400 and they are nice and smooth and you dont get the burrs and checks, and sometimes dents you'll get from sliding sharp edges. althought they don't make that SCRAPE sound anymore, just a smoother kinda "shink" sound.
