How do you connect pvc piping to wood?

tryna make a backyard setup but dont know how to actually connect the pvc part of the rail to the wood stand. do u use a drill or like gorilla glue lol

Drill it. Borrow a drill from somebody or buy one. You can get a decent drill for $20 at Home Depot/Lowes. Could probably get one for like $3.50 at harbor freight.

Drill in screws.

Other option is bolt it. Bolting down is def the way to go if you use steel tubing and aren't welding though.

Drilling screws is good enough for Pvc though.

Glue won't work really. It could but it's not your best option at all.

DRILL BABY DRILL

for large tubes what I did is took some old chopped logs we had around that were about the diameter of the pipe and put 2 foot long chunks in each end, then drilled them to some posts. It gives the screws something to hold and worked pretty well

if your just using 1 or 2 inch diameter stuff just drill it straight to the frame your using though

I zip tie the pvc down to the wood to hold it in place and screw up through the bottom of the wood into the pvc

other option is to drill a hole larger than the head of the screw on the side of the pvc at an angle and then drive the screw through the bottom of the pvc into the wood (if using a 4X4)

do this on both sides spaced 16" apart. Using a lag screw would hold the best.

Drill a hole in the PVC that's big enough for the screw head to fit through, then drill the screw through the drilled hole and the opposite side of the pipe into the wood.

This. It's the best way to do it.
