what are ur methods of asking a girl to be ur girlfriend or a guy ur boyfriend?

share some awkward/funny stories....

ill start off..."hey howd u like to be my girlfriend?" long silence............."oh shit, ahaha i was day dreaming say that again?"
 
I cleaned a girls puke out of my buddies sink one time at a party cause everyone else was too pussy to stick their hand in there.(I was a close friend of the host) The next week the aforementioned puke girl dumped her boyfriend and asked me out because she thought I was a take care of business kinda guy.(she was pretty cute too)
 
when i was 14 (5 years ago), i did it the same way. it's really not complicated or embarrassing.. you kids need to man up.
 
Counseling a friend on her twisted relationship:

Me: you should be more upfront about how you feel, don't play the mind games... just let it out.

Girl I like: Yeah, you should really do that, just be honest and straight about it.

Me: Yeah, like this: *turn to other girl* So, wanna go out?

It worked... :P

one time in the middle of asking a girl out i knocked a glass bottle full of juice out of my locker and it shattered on us. does that count as smooth?
 
I've been so removed from actually caring about the whole thing I've never really did the thing of asking her out. It was usually "yeah sure let's do the couple thing." However one time the girl was so intent on it being official that she got mad at me for refusing to say "will you go out with me?" forcing her to break down and ask me to be her boyfriend. I really didn't care.

But if you really want to get the unique dangerous hip fly playa slam dunk image in her eyes do what I once did and got away with more than just a 'date.'

Walk by her while pretend talking on your or just any cell phone and act like you're in a hurry, but be obviously checking her out and distracted by her 'beauty' as I guess you'd say. Double take if you like, just make sure she knows you're stopping. Look her in the eyes and say this on the phone "I have to go though, something came up(pun kind of intended)" Give her the cell phone and just say "I'll call you" then disappear into the night.
 
there is nothing bettter then to just straight up ask her. dont be fuckin lame and an asshole about it. just remember friendliness with eye contact.
 
similar story to this...

I had a girl puke on my leg as she was passed out by it at a party. Then I cleaned it up and carried her to the bathroom where I held her up to puke more. Then carried her back to the room (in a dorm none the less) and she passed out. The next day I got an IM from her saying sorry and thanking me for taking care of her. I had not known or her at all until this party but she was super hot so we played some beer pong together. Well after I said its all cool I was jsut lookin out for her she came over to my room and she was my g/f for a long time.

Some chick asked me out through drive-thru with this technique and since then it has been my official method for asking out girls who I've barely met.

(After some casual conversation)

You: Hey [name], would I sound desperate if I asked you out?

Girl: Yes...

You: Not exactly the answer I was hoping for, but I'm going to ask you anyways. Can I take you to dinner this Saturday?

Of course, if she says you wouldn't sound desperate, just don't act like an idiot and you're probably alright. It's a little corny, but it's funny and unexpected enough to work a fair amount.

 
wait people still ask other people to be their boyfriend/girlfriend? i though after a few weeks of fucking it was just assumed

agreed. Usually starts as a drunken hook up then evolves into weekly fucking and then a movie or something and bam you got a girl friend.
 
actually i lose respect for any girl i fuck on the first night i've known her or hung out with her, soo of all my recent hook ups i respect 0 of them haha
 
Haha, for real. If you play it off perfectly sometimes you can come off as cute, though... I'd still rather just not be a pussy and ask.
