I'm an MTBer and was wonderin if anyone could give me some tips for abubaca's

(an abubaca is where u stall on ur back wheel, then jump and roll out fakie)

whenever i try them, my front end dips too far down, i've tried leaning farther back but i just can't get it, should i land in the stall with my wheel higher or what???

ps. is there a biking cult?

i can manual about 2 driveway widths, i've just started getting into manuals.

i can't seem to get my front wheel to come back up, i can get it to stop about 2 ft. above the ground, but my forward momentum screws me over and my wheel hits the ground.

you should land in about the same position u would be in if u were to manual. Make sure ure brakes are preety dialed so u can really get ure weight back so ure able to pop better out of it

it DEFINATLY helps to have a short cockpit.

what your doing, is landing with your with your wight pretty much centered dead over the rear wheel, and then dropping your ass/pulling the bars so it rocks back in. at the same time popping. its tough. im still very far from being good at um. id say work on some trials skills like pedal kicks and pogoing. that definatly helps.

curb. i can do every part except pulling the wheel back up. i can back fairly well, ride switch, and half-cab

first of all you need to learn how to bunny onto the curb. then it will come naturally like my friend martin does in this pick. bunny to abu on a stinky with 7 inches of rear wheel travel. Boo YA

i do them on ramps so it might be diferent, but when you hop onto the curb/copin keep your weight back so the front wheel is still in the air and grab the back brake, then let the front drop then pull back hard/hop back and ride away.
