im kinda new on newschoolers and im wondering how all you guys get all the money for all this stuff you guys sell when a ton of threads say "BROKE" or "desperation sale"????? HOW!?!?!
 
matching your headphones to your gloves gets very expensive.

all those tall T's add up.especially if you have more then one.
 
haha..well NOWHERE near where i live sells good gloves, tall tees or skis for that matter. closest actually ski shop is about 1.5 hrs away
 
i just work all summer long and save my money up the entire time. if you really love skiing then its not that hard to set the money aside and then when winter comes i take it off from work so i can ride without any distractions its a nice way. if you try this be sure to ration your money well!
 
I spend alot of money on skiing, this year I'm coaching so I have a decent source of income, but it is still expensive, I'm riding skis from 3 years ago, my boots are 4 years old, as are my goggles, and helmet, but I usually just use sales to get what I need, and I know some people so I can get deals sometimes.
 
Im a hustlah!making that papah so i can jib all year hahano but really just sell weed or learn how to crotchet

yea bro im looking at selling my soul to a summer camp its good cash and it keeps me away from smoking weed every day insted of every weekend witch is a big $$ saver
 
do what i do bro. Go to a store that you can find cheap but good goggles in such as tj maxx and buy the SPY and ANON ones that they have in the beginning of the season, and then go to school and sell them for more but not too high. Just tell ur friends you get them from your cousin who has too many of them and needs to sell them for cheaper. I bought $35 SPY goggles and sold them for $100. dude thats crazy but it works when you got only rich people in your town who dont bother going to stores such as tj maxx where they have dope deals. You can buy tall tees for like 10 bucks. well they're not really tall tees they're just oversized t-shirts. Im tellin u. its a good business just dont let the teachers find out what your doing.
 
Did you need to ask?

A lot of people have or had jobs. They used all their money from their jobs and now need more, so they sell stuff on here.

Orrr, they could have had a load of holiday/birthday money saved up from several years..
 
theres a bunch of ways:

-im sure lots of kids mooch off their parents

-working a shit load. thats the easiest way

-work a shit load and also save your money for skiing rather than buying other shit

its actually pretty easy to buy things you want when you work a lot. try it
 
i work in spring and summer, save all the money and buy all my own gear. right now i have about $27 in my banck acount so i am really broke and i owe my rents money
 
I buy textbooks and ti-89s for cheap, then sell em for high. I'm a babysitter/lifeguard in the summer
 
I am poor but I go to t.j and get good deals and what not. I got my cousin burton coat that goes for like 100 for 35 haha but YAh i mow
 
i work, so yeah that pretty much covers it. I just got into skiing this december so i worked extra during christmas vacation, boxing day etc. Spent over like one grand on new skis, bindings,poles,jackets..list goes on and on...I buy all my seasons passes too.

I'm done spending money on gear this season..gotta save up to spend in the summer :D
