Shit I'll tell em. Get ahold of some powder, either black powder or pyrodex, get some fuse, and lastly some type of container. For Safety purposes get some real fuse, you can make your own but I have had trouble making something that burns SLOWLY. For the container you need something that will hold a decent amount of pressure before exploding, I found that threaded metal pipe and caps works best and is the easiest to make. I have used pvc it does pop but not with the same force. CO2 containers do work but it is a pita to get the powder into them. Finally drill a hole for the fuse and seal it into place, caulking works well. If you used good waterproof fuse and sealed the hole well it will even work underwater, it is the lazymans way of fishing. Be careful though, if you are unsure of what you are doing don't, you can kill, burn, or blind yourself and others. Pipe bombs are serious mothers.
Me and a friend made a rather large pipe bomb a few years back, and placed it under a 55 gallon drum. We lit the fuse and ran like you've never seen anyone run before. It went off and the drum TOOK OFF, it flew about 15-20 feet into the air before being stopped by large oak limbs. It was insane.
