How do i record from a DVD

If i want to record just a clip off a DVD on my computer how do i do it? the simplest version possible because i am retarted... thanks!

if you want to copy the dvd, download dvd decrypter. put in the dvd, open up the program.

then find MODE in the top menu, go to ISO and click READ.

then either choose where to save it (normally goes to C:/)

then click the icon below (copying symbol or some shit).

when thats done, open up the program again.

find MODE again, and click ISO again.

go to WRITE instead of READ.

then click on the little folder icon and find the file you just copied (theres 2, a .MDS and another, if you click the other one, itll just make you use the .MDS).

then click the icon below that and it will burn it.

this is just for copying dvds. i dont know how to take media files (.mpeg, .avi, etc.) and burn those to readable dvds. if anyone can help me on that, PM are welcome.

yeah u can use dvd shrink , you use the reauthor option it has and then u can just start and end the movie where ever u want it , dvdshrink.org

fuck fuck no i didnt! i got it saved but its as an IFO File, whatever the hell that is, how do i change it to an mpeg or MOV so i can upload it on here????
