How do i make photo's like this

Tripod, DSLR, 3+ frames per second continuous shooting, photoshop.

You open them all in the same photoshop document and layer them over each other.

I know you can do it from taking film stills too, but the resolution won't be as good (unless you have a nice camera) and I don't know how to do that.

you don't NEED a dslr or a tripod, its just nice to have. you just need something with an acceptable burst rate

im pretty sure that photo was made with screenshots from a video. tripod is for sure huge though

Or get your skier to do the EXACT same trick several times.

The most important thing is that it's on fully manual and the exposure is the same for every picture.

I know, you could do it with a point and shoot too, but the main point is a camera with a fast enough burst rate. Tripods help a hell of a lot too, because then you don't have to match up frames.

And video stills would definitely work--I know people do sequences like that, but I don't own a camera capable of taking video so I haven't figured that one out yet haha.

Iv made a sequence without a tripod, but it was not the best. You could tell if you looked closely when the camera was moved slightly between frames.
