How do i make a website?

get fireworks and dreamweaver and you can pretty much make anything you can think of. at least in terms of appearance.

here are some options...

1) take a class in school

2) search the web

3) ask somebody who knows something about it..

You need server space to host it. You can get free space but usually it has ads. If you want server space without ads you have to pay. Anyway, i use www.bravehost.com, its pretty nice for what you need to do.
 
for my class we used geocities until my teacher got us an ftp to use from our school website. So you could try that. what exactly is your page about?
 
i use adobe golive, cause i didnt feel like getting into dreamweaver at this point, and i already had it because i bought the adobe creative suit for indesign and photoshop. golive is a good program, and you can do a lot with it. but dreamweaver is where its at. plan on spending a shit ton of time learning any of these programs though. they are tricky.
 
if you have a high-speed internet service, like comcast (which i do), they sometimes give you a certain ammount of server space, say to put up a website, or have e-mail storage. i know comcast does, not sure about other companies tho.
