How do I load an old xbox game to a 360??

well if amped 2 was compatible, then you put it in your xbox and play it, same as you do with Halo, because i know the 360 was backwards-compatible for halo and you did not have to do anything special to make it work.
 
some people mod their xboxs so they can play non compatable games. i dont know how or why but they do anyways. you can always check google.
 
for halo i just put it in and when connected to live it said i had a new update or i had to update before i played it. i downloaded the update and then it worked.
 
there is a setting that allows for the 360 to play backwards compatible games, but if you have played halo then that setting should already be set to allow original xbox games. but i guess it is worth a check to make sure the option is still allowing backwards compatibility to happen
 
ayuh but if you play online then microsoft can tell when you've modded your xbox and they'll delete your live account for good. not worth the risk.
 
theres a list of compatible games online. if your games on the list then just put it in and play, simple as that
 
step 1- press silver eject button on xbox 360 (if you don't press this button, the xbox tray will not open)step 2- place disc in xbox 360 disc tray so that the graphic side is facing up (note, if you put the disc in upside down, it will not work)step 3- press the silver eject button again or gently push the tray until it slides closed (note, if you hit the tray with a hammer it will not work)step 4- press the silver button in the middle of your controller until it lights upstep5- look at the screen and play the game
look online for a compatible games list. on xb og games you don't get achievements and you can't use your 360 profile
 
very nice of you to dumb it down for him, also an alternative to step one is holding the circle wih the x in it on your controller down til it turns green.
 


you can update your xbox to play original games through the backward compatibility update either through xbox live, or download the file a burn it to disc , and then load it in your rig. I found this link on the xbox website.
