How do I convince my friend to get 183s instead of 177?

How should i convince my friend to get 183s? he is maybe a little taller than 6 foot and he is determined on getting 177s.
 
Tell him if he rides 177 his dick will shrink. Fr tho idk man if you’ve explained the pros and cons and he’s still set on 177’s let him ride what he wants and he’ll either have a blast with a more nimble slightly lighter ski. Or more likely he’ll regret the lack of stability and say that you were right.
 
If I’ve learned one thing in my recent years of life it’s you can’t fix stupid. Like you actually can’t.
 
I got 177wets and I am 5.9 they are way to short for me, I could only nose press at slow speeds otherwise I'd dig my tips in and somersault. GET 183
 
Yeah dawg just let it happen. It sounds like you tried multiple times because you resorted to posting on NS about it, so you can definitely say you tried when he realizes he shouldn’t be on 177 V’s

I explained that I skied a pair of 177s this year and i had an issue with them slipping out when i landed back seat. I also explained that with the rocker that V's have makes the ski ride really short. He wants 177s because he got used to 165 cronics and he doesn't want to size up by 18cm.

anyone who denies that long ski steez is very much real is tripping. it just makes your grabs look bigger and better and who wouldn’t want that.
 
Ride what you want to ride, but a larger ski would better suit you. That's especially true with wets because they're soft and rockered. Also short skis plus tall guy look goofy

it's an issue if they feel too small to you. it's not an issue because a bunch of parrots on a ski website are on a feedback loop

tall skis are great but it's personal preference plus you're growing i'm sure. you can size up on your next pair if that's what you find you want

Thanks for all of the help convincing him. Today he told me that if he does buy V’s he is going to get 183s.
