How do I convert a video into pictures?

As the title says I want to convert a video to pictures while keeping it in hd. I just don’t know how, any suggestions?

Depending on what kind of device or computer you're doing it on, there are ways to take simple screenshots and maintain the resolution. Each one is different and so google something like "How to take high resolution screenshots on *enter your device name here*" It might require an app, or it might just take some messing with the display and playback settings on your video player.
