How do I build a rail in my backyard

I know how to make the rail I just need to know the best way to make a roll in. Should I build a quarter pipe or a roll or what?
 
Yea you should build a ramp to enable you to get speed. You're new to this site, so you probably have no idea what cults are. There is one cult that is called "build a jib 101" its a very good informative cult where people talk about their setups and ideas etc... I recommend joining it. You can start a thread on it too, and a lot of people that hover over that cult want to help kids like you, instead of just posting that on the gear talk forum. To join a cult: look at the top of the page, put your cursor on "community" then click on cults. Then you should see a SEARCHBAR (remember this word, it WILL be useful in the future) type in build a jib and simply join the cult.
 
i think for build a jib 101 you need an invite from a leader, just press request to join cult and the guys there are really chill, they'll probably let you in within a few days when they log in next. there's actually a few stickys in their forum for building all that kind of stuff, so you'll be more than set with that. good luck!
 
just make sure you make it sturdy because the last thing you want is to get injured because you made a stupid mistake building it
