Go to a goddamn bootfitter.

Yep Believe me. when I was younger I baught a pair of booters online because they looked cool. dumbest idea. They work for some people but not for others. Just go to a boot fitter and don't be a dumb ass

A. This belongs in GEAR TALK

B. Definitely go to a boot fitter

C. Don't get full tilts , they are cheap toys that break apart. Read through the dozens of threads on here about " my full tilts broke " .

Different boots will work for different people so asking the Internet for anecdotes on how they fit will not end well

I find they fit similar to rosi boots. Go try on some rosi boots park ones if you can find em and that should be close in size. I was a 26 in a lang and solomon but went to a 25.5 in the rosi and then full tilt.

I have the same kind of foot, kind of medium width and a medium-ish arch and the classics were the best feeling boots I tried on at the shop I went to. But definitely try them on first, you never know until your foot is actually in the boot.

They fit like a fucking ski boot. Don't go to just any boot fitter, go to a great boot fitter, give them plenty of time, and tip them accordingly, seriously. They're one of the most important people in the industry when it comes to getting ski gear.

if you have a wider foot get the ft descendants they are this years wider boot but go to a boot fitter

Honestly people over react when it comes to hate'n on full tilts. Quite honestly they are the best boot I've ever ridden. I got a cheap barely used pair from a friend for $80 and they work like a dream. I like them because of how light they are. Honestly whenever I'm in the lift line with my friends all they do it complain about how there shins hurt or there heals hurt and I always say get full tilts. I have a wide foot and for some reason the tom wallisch 2012 hot doggers work perfectly for me.

Truth fuckin hurts . Sit in gear talk for a week and you'll read countless complaints on broken full tilts . Things are cheap kiddie toys . Garbage .

Not all full tilts break apart as LONG AS YOU FUCKING TAKE CARE OF THEM. Ive had booters for the past THREE YEARS and they haven't fallen to shit yet. Granted, the tounge is slightly warped on one of the boots from use but other than that and normal scratches they are good. Word of the wise tho, get booster straps and throw em on the boots. They work fucking magic.

Not to thread jack...but, I gotta question. Has anyone else noticed how Full Tilts BSL run 10mm shorter than every other brand atleast at the shop i work at, and when you look at a shell fit it is actually a noticeable difference...

If you have chicken legs they will work great. If not, well, get them anyway.

Go to a bootfitter though.

Guys I don't know, I think it'd be better to just ask the internet what the best boots are and buy them without trying them on. If everyone else's foot fits in Full Tilts my surely will. Boot fitters are a pointless job I don't know why they didn't go extinct after the invention of the internet.

I had the B&Es for a few seasons and they were OK. they were awesome at first, but they buckles ended up breaking (fuck plastic buckles and $30 replacement buckles) and I had to buy a lot of pieces to make them fit comfortably as I got used to them/became more of an aggressive skier. I'd be curious to try the new TWalls, though, as it looks like they are constructed a lot better than the boots I have. if you do get full tilts, get the high end pro models with metal buckles and replaceable soles, not the classics or the cheap shit. I have dalbello il morros now and they are fantastic. they are similar in design to full tilts but are much better IMO. don't be afraid to check out other brands, and don't be fooled into buying full tilts because of the style- it'll bite you in the ass.

but seriously, go to a boot fitter.

Alright so for all the kids out there getting ft classics.

Why buy a cheaper boot with a cheaper liner and cheaper buckles when you are just going to spend $15-$20 a piece to eventually replace all of the buckles...

So if we go through the math on just the cost of replacing the buckles on the ft classic we end up with

$15x6= $90

So if we buy a classic for $399

then we break the buckles throughout 2 seasons we are now 10 dollars away from getting the first chair 6 with a power rap liner and metal buckles that last twice as long.

But in reality go to a fucking boot fitter and stop shopping online!
