How did you find NS?

Wow time flies. I remember when the site would crash all the time from uploads and it was an epic week if like 5 new pics were added. It has been great to see a site committed to one purpose: the love of a sport, continue on for so long. I am going to bet there are kids reading this that couldn't walk when I first stubbled upon Harvey's site with my steadfast dial-up connection. This is back when switchups were unheard of, D Spins could win X Games, and if you were online when someone else was logged on it was a busy night. BTW time flies fast as I found this site over 10 years ago as a frosh in high school and now finding myself in school pursuing a doctorate. I failed to join early but finally gave in and signed up in 2001. Keep ur dreams high kids and bust ur ass and you never know who you become.

Holy shit that's exactly the same with me. I don't recall lurking the forums, I just decided to make an account and then came across the forums a few minutes later.

about 4 years ago my buddy's older brother told me about a picture he found on the internet of some kid hanging on to a chair at mount baker (we're from wa). So i looked it up and i found it on NS...after i was done being amazed by that picture i started to explore the site a little bit more untill the point where i loved every bit of it. now its my home page and the main source of my procrastination.

i picked this site up off of a google search back in 2003-2004. i was looking for some good ski reviews and this had it, i ended up joining a year later and have been semi-active since

i was looking for some information for a ski trip and started typing names of mountains out west and kept getting random links to NS. I pillaged the site for the site for some info, forgot about it and came back the following summer when i was sitting at my desk at work, thinking about skiing and started looking for forums and blogs about skiing.

Videos of a buddy (volklpro to those who have been around forever) jumping over tour buses in Glacier Park were on here, and it spread from there.

It's crazy to think that I've been on the sight since 2004. Wow.

my family got our first computer when I was 11 (parents had ones before that) and I did not know how to use the internet so I kept coming to newschoolers by googling someones profile. a couple months later I made an account, that was in 2002, I wish I could remember the name and take it back since now you can change user names.

I joined to try and sell some gear, and got hooked. There seemed to be a lot of helpful people and features. Dont think I could delete my account if I tried now.

I found the 4bi9 Killin' It Edit on Youtube. I saw kids talking about Tom Wallisch in 07 so I presumed he was in that edit. Googled his name and really the only results were from NS. I lurked and eventually joined. Now you google Tom Wallisch and get so many results haha.

i had been finding random ski vids on different mountains websites for like a year, decided to hit up bluemountain.com, saw the link on the bottom of the page, haven't looked back since

4 or 5 yrs ago my friend ted ( tbatt) told me to make a "newschoolers name and talk shit in the gore ny cult" because noone would know who it was"
so i made one didnt talk shit and just looked at videos and around the cult posted with my old account and such. lost my password and made this account 2 yrs ago i think

The year 2006 The age 12 The way my mom wouldn't let me have a myspace so i was just looking around the internet for stuff and i had gone to a bmx camp at whaleback that year so i looked on there website and clicked on the NS logo and found this little gem of a website and didnt really do anything post wise til this summer and now i spend 90% of the time on the internet on NS

line traveling circus episode 4 when andy is talking baout he is sitting on ns after a quick stop to google ya

I wanted to see the next years skis and when I googled it NS was the only place to have it.

then i lurked in gear reviews for a bout a year before I made an actual acount

I think this was 2007

i was in middle school computer class watching skiing videos on skiingmotion.com and then kinda stumbled and lurked for ever. then i finally made an account in 04 i think.
