How did you find NS?

i knew this guy, and he started making a site, and sometimes when i was bored of looking at porn all day i went to it. turns out it was pretty good. except for the complete lack of porn.

This is the international region.. uhh.. that's a really good question! hehe... I guess they figured that I have a lot of region-specific content on the site.. even if it isn't all the same region.. know what I mean?

well, it was back in 2004 when i was a younger lad, freshman in high school i believe. i remember coming on and watching videos and one day i decided to actually join the site. have been slowly drifting away from ns in the past few years
 
I saw the ads in Freeskier and didn't really get it. Then I went to the website out of curiosity and there was an awesome picture on the front page that changed once in a while so I kept going back to it.
 
i don't really remember if it was either that i was looking for skiing sites just to look at pictures and recent events or i was looking at pics on some other site and said newschoolers.com but here i am.
 
I stumbled onto the PoorBoy forums and someone was talking about NS so I came over here and checked it out. decided it was lame so I never came back for about a year.. haha and then I had gone up to whistler in 02 and some random bum was following me around and talked about this place so I came back
 
I was told by some freestylers at my mountain to join. I always said, "...but I'm an oldschooler." And one day I just signed up. I've been in love ever since.

i was looking for skiing games. then i found the forums. lurked for a while. made an account. and then ceased to get anything done on the computer.
 
Over the summer we should do periodic, Where are they now? feature. Where is flanker now.

I found the site while searching for information about park skiing, I was trying to understand why kids would take perfectly good skis and and mash their edges on rails and such. I lurked for a couple of seasons, never signing up until I noticed a bunch of kids from our same area where going to the same camp as my son and asked if they would keep an eye on him. He was 11 at the time.

About 2 years ago I searched skiing forums because I randomly fell in love with skiing over the summer. I joined and made some name but it would never let me log in and I didn't ski park back then so I didn't worry about it. I didn't visit this site again until like march 2007 and then I joined.
 
This thread DATES..

I remember seeing it on a chairlift tower once back in '03. Before then, I had used other sites.. but switched over to this one once I saw how cool it was, and how many chill folks were on it.
