i heard of it from a friend and was like "shit that sounds sick" so i typed in newschoolers.com....AND BAM! freeskiing at my fingertips,

I was a snowboarder at the time, on AOL (thanks aol) they had some trailers all the of the Warren Miller Movies. So I decided that I would try skiing the next year, and while I was looking for some cheap skis, newschoolers.com kept pooping up in the search engine. I finally just signed up, and now I'm on here all the time.

i was on freeskiing.com at first, then at my mountain this kid told me to get on here cas we talk in the regional forum. i got on here and then noticed freeskiing.com has absoulutly nothing to do with skiing and half th kids dont even ski on that site, so i stuck over here.

Someone was showing me next years skis and then it was a link to here from SIA like 2 or 3 years ago. Then, didn't sign up for another year maybe, then didn't find the forums until like 4 months after I joined.

Skibum_ told me about it. I then forgot what it was called. He then told me again, I didnt write it down and forgot what it was called. This repeted for about 2 months. Then one day befor homeroom, I asked him and broke into a computerlab and made my account. At least i think thats how it happened. My homeroom might have been in a computer lab. I could just be imagianing the whole thing. Either way, Justin told me about it.

I met Harvey in college in Ottawa in 2000.

We were doing a lab together and we didn't really know eachother and somehow we got onto the top of skiing. He eventually mentioned he had 1080s, and I had 1080s then we started skiing together. I've been using NS since.

The rest is history. ;)

From the OOOOOOLD SCHOOL K2 ski chatter thing back in like january 2000 or like late 1999. Some kid came on raving about how cool this ski website (NS) was. For like the first few months I was on NS I didnt even know they even HAD forums! haha so great. I just came for the videos, pics and articles.
