i would say pablo honey is the only album that could come close to being called emo, but it's still far from it. It's hard to label radiohead one thing b/c they're always changing their style
 
He said the word emo.. so he's probably right.. but yeah.. Fugazi... Sonic Youth maybe.. there were lots of 'post punk' bands that were emotional rockness..
 
umm emo has been around sunce the early 80s.

anyway, I can sort of see why, someone who had heard a part of a song of theirs and only like one emo song would say that, but ya they are a fucktard.
 
who fucking cares how someone classifies a band (and i for one wouldn't call Radiohead emo), if you like it listen to it, and radiohead is a kickass band.
 
they seem emo to me, but I like it alot. Its like good emo. But it is emotional and sad. I dunno who gives a dogs collar.
 
i think they are emo in the sense that they are what emo used to be. The goal-posts of classification keep changing in relation to emo.

I prefer the older style of emo none of this black nail varnish MTV nonsense.
 
ID say anything emotional is emo. But I just really dont care because its a label and the most pointless thing in the world.
 
Emo=short for "emotional hardcore". It started with bands like Fugazi that played hardcore punk but discussed emotions instead of hating everything.
