classmates were giving a presentation and they mentioned Ohio, in an instant I was dead, laugh crying for like the entire presentation. I think my brain is fried.

must be pretty crazy to be in high school in 2024. we only had ipods and ti83+ calculators when I was your age.

The ti 83 plus and ti 84 are still quite present in public schools though personally I’ll take an hp or Casio calculator any day of the week

There is desmos that’s becoming popular, it’s a mega powerful web based graphing calculator. Unfortunately TI has a monopoly on school calculators in the US which is why there has been virtually no changes to the TI83,84,84+ since their release in the 90s- early 2000s because of schools using their calculators exclusively they have no reason to innovate

We use TI-Nspire CX CAS students software on laptops. No real calculators.

There was one back in maybe 2015 or so? I used it through my first year or so of college for homework and stuff. I cant remember the name of it, but it was a clone of a TI83 and worked great.
