How come humans evolved from animals?

im not saying we arent literally animals anymore. but think of how we as species spend our day. we take a shower, pumped through piping built by humans and installed by humans. we go to learn so we can spend money and contribute to how much of the planet we take and then go to sleep on a memory foam bed.

sorry for dub post, but the world is large. some people still live in 3rd world countries and don't live as well as we do.

we just ended up being smarter rather than stronger... We'd get raped in a fight against pretty much any animal if we werent as smart as we are.
We evolved in a way that our increased intelligence meant that we didnt need as much physical strength. Once we happened to mutate with that little bit extra intelligence, it became advantageous for us to have it, and so all of the people who were just as smart as chimpanzees or whatever died off because they sucked balls at everything else, wheras the ones who were smart enough to survive using their added intelligence had kids and passed that intelligence on. We then got to a point where we became intelligent enough to start farming and whatnot, which led to civilization as we know it.
that was probably the worst explanation ever but i think you get the idea.

haha i have no idea what movie thatsbut ya evolution is pretty epic, its just the survival of the fittest, after many years it filters down and its the species that were able to inovate and progress the most that survive and thrive

Now firstly, I just want to say we did not evolve from monkeys, but we had a common ancestor. Our progressive evolution took millions and millions of years. We likely developed they way we didn't with our brains as a means of survival, in terms of physical strength and defense humans have very little.
It would have started with very small traits in which we share with lemurs, old world monkey, new world monkeys and great apes, first the development of binocular vision, the development of an opposible thumb, and then development of the frontal lobe which is involved with higher thinking.
Remember how much evolution occured between Homo Erectus- Homo Sapiens. That is just the tip of the ice berg.
We developed not because we were better than other species, more that it was the only way in which we could survive.

Animals clean their selfs regularly. While young they learn how to get food, take care of themselves, and how to attract the females.Sounds like were similar we just do things differently.And there are other animals that make better bed from different things to rest on kinda like our memory foam.
