How close can I remount my bindings to the old holes?

So, I have to remount a couple pair of skis for a new pair of boots. I'd like to keep the mounts fairly close to the same position on most of them, how far do I have to go?

Reuse the toe or heel holes, whatever will work best for your position.

yea if you helicoil the current holes and ether move just the toe or just the heel then its your best bet with minimal effect on ths ski

I had my skis 2 years ago mounted at 2 back of boot center and then a car ran over my bindings and fucked it up. Then I put it at 1 back and it was fine.

you can fill the hole by taking a golf tee and putting it in the hole with some wood glue. then break it off and file the splinters down. then wait for it to dry and redril the hole.

if you want the same setup use helicoils, but if not plug the old holes and keep drilling
