Switch tricks in the pipe will progress this sport cuz we're gonna run out of big air tricks one day. Hopefully turpin can throw down his horizon in competition tomorrow. If he can stick it big it'll get some well deserved attention. Crichton is killing it in the pipe this weekend too, look out for him.

sup dude le skibum, i'd have to say the way to make the progression is strive to do whatever looks fun, be it a simple grab or Screamin Semen-Misty 1080 off a cliff, its all about realizing the freedom this type of recreation provides and doing whatever looks fun (while keeping consideration of possible consequences if the shit hits the fan), but not letting rules or past experiences keep you from doing whatever you personally think would feel good, because in the end its not about 'changing the industry' or 'beating snowboarders', its about what YOU want to do... i feel if enough people have this mindset, freeskiing/freestyling as a whole will progress because when you think about, isn't that how it all started?

I think that you are an anti capatalist. So what is skiing is going towards making money. Rightfully so, the athletes make the companys money and therefore they are entitled to a certain percentage of the sales. Just as though they were drawing the graphics on a ski instead of just representing them. If you really liked bagging groceries and all of a sudden the wages went up, would you complain that thats not what bagging groceries is about?
