There are many problems with China for which we should be boycotting the Olympics: monolithic surveillance state, non-recognition of Taiwan, erosion of democracy in Hong Kong, ethnic cleansing of Uyghur Muslims, organ harvesting, the list goes on.... The fact that they managed to field a homegrown freeskiing team ought to be very low on that list.

I still enjoy park skiing and I don't care if china wants to spend its national resources developing the world's best freeski team. Better they focus on irrelevant things like this than pouring more resources into their diplomatic infringements. Maybe they will be the first to future spin in competition.

Chinese Skiers (on the national team) arent “skiers”. They are gymnasts who were taught how to ski greens and land aerial tricks

The Chinese are very cunning - By leveraging their gymnastics prowess they will begin to demand more influence within FREESKIING especially within the FIS judging ranks- this is a serious problem.

The traditional skiing nations : US, Canada, our European Friends , Japan, ANZACs need to band together and shut them out of the sport
