I recently bought some armada halos, they're pretty flexible but I wanna break em in a little faster flex wise.

any tips that wont snap my skis in half?

Works every time

Nose butter only for a day, did that on my Halo's and they are pretty much perfect for me now. It may have been a mixture of them getting softer and me learning what really flexes them though.

Alright thanks for tips everyone. I guess I wanted super flexible skis too fast haha. Riding them a lot would be the best option

Click into them, stand on them with cinder block under the tips and tails, bounce up and down for awhile. If they're brand new you might here some cracking and popping which is likely the skis just breaking in a bit. Also just skiing them hard for a day or two will work. Do lots of presses and butters on the snow, leaning into the flex as much as possible. Eventually they will get there. But remember theres no going back.

If they are crappy skis then you will accelerate the natural progression of getting softer. It really depends on the ski I guess. If they are good skis built to last then they will break in a little and become softer. If they are cheaper skis then they will break in and probably end up being like those loose noodles you have after a couple years of skiing.

They will be a little long according to what people have told me. Im 5'7, 130lbs and got 178s. I didnt think they would be too long but idk.

You'll be fine. Chronics are marketed as a stiff all mountain ski, but they're really a medium flex, playful, jibby park ski. Super light too. I imagine at your size you will have absolutely zero trouble throwing them around
