Kinda fucked, if I pull an all nighter (3:35am) right now and I have to get up at 6:00am, will it be a little risky to ski? a couple of my friends told me that they took a lot of crashes...

Last time i skied with no sleep after working all day at 2 jobs (tree lopping then bartending)then driving 5 hours to ski in the early winter i blew my knee out.. be careful when you are that tired you do stupid carless shit which gets you injured.. injuries suck i can't ski for 6 months now casue of a dumb crash and snapping my acl and meniscus. . Not gun at all so word to the wise sleep before you ski.. unless its a pow day then adrenaline should keep you going hard

Take it a little easier than usual and you'll be fine. I skied all of last season every Sunday after a midnight to noon nightshift. It was manageable but dangerous. I literally had a sore neck after every single Sunday I rode. I dont know what the fuck that has to do with it but I feel like it was related, the neck pain went away in 2 days and would be back the following Sunday.

Anything to go skiing though bruh.

the fuck did you stay up all night for ? blow? haha

but honestly yea man its really dangerous ! your body isn't rested, you won't be alert and you won't respond to things as quickly. Don't do it

330 isnt that late. thats only 90 minutes past when bars close in most areas.

Skiing off of 2 and half or less hours of sleep is pretty risky.

any more risky than skiing super hungover? Any more risky than skiing drunk? Any more risky than skiing when physically beat from the day before?

there are risks all over. Gotta know your body well enough to know when to back off. Everybody is different.

Hey yes all of this is true haha. So what you're telling us is since he's not well rested he should ski drunk! ;)

I did it once & made the news:

I broke my femur after getting barely any sleep the night before. Definitely take it easy if you're skiing without getting enough or any sleep.

went to bed at 5:30am last night, and mobbed northstar today. took it easier and didn't go crazy. warm up to skiing and play it smart, cause i defiantly was a little out of it

tl;dr don't be an idiot

Why not sleep for a few hours then go in on 3 hours of sleep?

Also not really, if you're not feeling it don't break yourself, but some of the biggest tricks I ever through were on 0 sleepafter long drives or all night party mode.

Just don't do anything dumb. There's no good excuse not to go shred.

Yeah for the love of god just take it mellow.

I used to work the graveyard shift sunday-friday, and i would get off work at 7 am saturday go straight to the hill, ski all day, go home sleep, ski all sunday, then be back to work for 10pm. those were the days.

Ive dont it plenty of times. Just take a couple breaks throughout the day. But im less tired staying up all night than sleeping just a couple hours

I was just in this exact situation yesterday and ended up going skiing. I have to say it was 100% worth it. Just drink a bunch of red bull and 5 hour energy and you'll be fine.
