How are you supposed to get to mammoth?

my flight is not going to get in early enough to catch the bus that runs to mammoth....that means i'll probably be stuck there till tuesday. anyone travelling from reno to nevada this weekend? i don't think the car rental places are going to let me drop off a car in mammoth.....

People in lake tahoe pick up thumbers. I picked up many over the years. As far as other parts of CA...Probably not so much.
