How are these for a park boot?

yea dont skimp on crappy boots, try to find some of last years on clearance. Go to some shops try shit on and see what they have left over from last season.

I have had my nordica beasts since they launched that line and I love them. Just go try every single boot in the shop on and go with the one that fits u the best. you want to be confortable more then anything else.

if you buy crappy boots you'll probably want knew ones by next season, basically throwing away the money you spent on the first pair. The only reason I would tell people to not get nice boots is if they aren't sure if they are gonna stick with skiing but go enough that renting doesn't make sense. Remember that boots can last way longer than most of the shit you use in the park. and most companies make somewhat affordable (relatively) "freeride" type boots.

uim only 16, so im not going to bother to spend 500 on boots.....cuz ill grow out of them. Im riding Nordica B7(100 at sportchek)and they did fine......there just too small. But i did have a issude with warmth and shinbang..so im looking into a pair a step up.....how are the rossi sodt boots..i can get them for like 150 last seasons here..........

theyre warm, thats never been an issue, theyre a tad softer than my atomic boots, to be honest theyre very average, i have nothing to complain about, but nothing really stands out to make this boot special. i still got shin bang using them, but it wasnt as bad as my atomic boots.

Oh right, Yeah I'm in the same boat as you with the CDN VS USA exchange

bullshit. If you have a sports chek in your area you can get some

1080s for pretty cheap when they put them on sale in september. Don't skimp out on boots. I myself would rather ride some slightly cheaper skis then having uncomfortable boots.

like, i can get the power 90, or some soft boots form my sportchek..no 1080......but the soft boots are still good.......

I still recommend you go to some shops and see what they have left over, and even if they dont have something in your price range try on a bunch of shit too see what size you are and what kinda stuff fits you the best.

oh ya, nowhere in my city fits boots either...plus, since in still growing there is no point...as long as theyre comfortable..............

The boots are really really soft. The 1080s have a flex of 85. The GUNS have a flex of 95 to put it into perspective. I think those boots might be to soft and you might hurt your ankles.

soooooooooo not true. Please get fitted at a shop even if you have to drive outside of your city. Hell, I live in Kentucky and I found a shop to get boots fitted at. Plus you dont have to buy them from the shop just find out what boot you need and a size and find it for cheap online.

uhhhhhhhhhh, i do have a job, and sorry, i dont want to spend 500 on boots, because i am GROWING, and ill need new ones next year....see, i thought about it.....and no, i ALREADY EXPLAINED i am not getting fitted for boots. Nowhere in my city does it, and like i said, i am GROWING, so i need new boots nextyear anyways....thank you for those who actually read, and didnt tell me to buy expensive boots and get fitted.

i bought the X-waves, and they have a great flex, fit. They are pratically the same as the 1080 boot, but stiffer. And for the fit, go see an orthopedest ( i am sure i spelt that wrong), and get some insoles. It is worth it for the rails and the flat landings. And worse comes to worse just Sr. Scholes gel shit. Works pretty good.

wow, how ignorant are you. i already said im not buying online, and im buying from a store, adn im canadian. read the posts before you comment, because you end up looking like an idiot. "jea"

soory, yea i only read your first post, but those boots arent good. and buying offline has its plusses. so yea...

but do what you will. i would recomend x-waves from the salomon line up, perfomas just arent designed for the park. .

well, i bout nordica b7 (99 @ sportchek) cuz i had nooooooooooo money last year for boots, and they did fine....they were comfy, but not really warm. Really, i dont need a park boot, i do fine with a rec boot. as long as the liner fits snug to my shin, and the boot is warm, im happy..sure, if i can get a park specific boot for a good price, i will.....but if now, well, i can get the Rossignol Soft boots for about 100 from last season...

i'm as big of a proponent of buying top of the line equipment as anyone else on this site, but if you're on a budget and you're just going to be skiing park, there is nothing wrong with getting cheapo boots. i mean, simon dumont uses the elipse boot, it's super soft and shitty, and he seems to be doing alright with it. oh and you're growing too. that would be dumb to buy 1080's or anything else that level or higher. on the same token, don't go to a garage sale and get some old nordica rear entries either.

wow, someone understands me. Like, id either get some rossi soft boots, (like 99-150)from a season ago, or some salomon boots...im growing, and ski only park. i rode nordica b7 from sportchek, and didnt hate them,,,they were fine....i dont need top of the line, skis will last, but i grow out of boots in a season.....and no, i plan to buy from a shop, or store....no garages lol

well at sports authority a while ago thye had a ton or super random boots for super cheap. they were all at least like half of most of them were way more, but they had like one or two pairs of each, but if they had some that fit you they'd be a sweet deal, dunno what the deal was with them though might've been a one time random thing

well, at y sportchek and sportmart, like in october/november, all the boots are at good prices..some like 60% off

i can get these fro like 150 or so...
