How are the Salomon Scarlet's? Comparable to the Gun?

I am looking to get a pair or powder twins for my wife. I have the Gun LAB and love them, so I want to get her the Scarlets. Are they the same construction as the Gun? Does anyone have any experience on them or heard anything about them? Thanks a lot.

flex pattern is women specific.

The new gun and Scarlet are the same ski with a different top sheet graphic. There is no diffence in the skis as the Salomon Women's freeride time wanted the same ski as the men's in all of their twin's.

yup. thats pretty badass of salomon, but if your lady isnt as agressive as you, you may want something a tad softer. the K2 Nancys are AWESOME skis, super cool lookin too. check those out.

It's not that stiff in the sizes they make the women's in. The Nancy is just a soft version of the old Seth which was a noodle to begin with. But yes the Nancy is a good option for women who want a very soft flexing powder ski.
