i just orderd a pair of 171s but then somone told me that there guna be to heavy to have fun with in the park. Any one have any advice or riding them?

affirmitive

i got the anthems after rocking invaders and i noticed quite a of weight difference. still probably a light ski nonetheless

What are you going to be skiing mainly?Everyone used to go on about how great anthems were on here.I've never skied them so can't comment on them but they aren't going to be that great in powder as they are only 93 at the waist.

well the weight can be a problem, they r by no means heavy but not light. my friends were pretty heavy with px12s, but my friends anthems with jesters seemed a lot better. so just make sure u put good bindings on them

I have them and love them. If you ski almost all park, this is the best ski you can get for that price. Super playful, great for rails and butters, good for jumps and pipe and the graphic is orgasmic pollard-goodness.

Only complaint is durability, and the top sheet chips a lot. I had a edge pull out at my tail after only a dozen days, but I glued it back on. Don't expect more than 1-2 seasons of heavy use.

Its harder to carve them than a traditional shaped ski, but still possible. (me on octos below)

I have the octolands. they are the shit. if you dont like them than fuck you. becasue if you havnt ridden them than your life is half incomplete. i promise you you'll like them!

So sick, I ski alot of pow (as much as the east coast will offer me haha) and the anthems (octos) fair fine, no float haha, but all the more face shots. Amazing for rails, great on jumps with that fat underfoot tons of stability, an awesome ski, have fun

alright everyone thanks alot i already had them orderd but just wanted a second opinon. they should be in this week im so stoked
